This is a great feature. One thing needs to be improved:
When a grid is saved with a layout, it should remember it (the last saved layout) when we return to that grid later. Whether we close the grid or exit IQ, and return later, the last saved layout should open. Each grid should be able to retain the last saved layout independently of the other.
Furthermore, it would be nice if the saved layouts could appear in some dropbox or something somewhere in the IQ interface. With the dropdown, we'd quickly be able to change the saved layout without having to load and save every time. Plus, we'd be able to see at a glance which layout we are using. Autocad has a saved layout feature and they do it very nicely by using a dropdown list docked in the toolbar.
